NEB plastic sided, L style bobbins also have a plastic core. They will run smoothly in bobbin cases with minimal lint build up. The clear sides allow you to see at a glance how much bobbin thread is left.  There is less friction and wear on bobbin cases with these bobbins. Each bobbin has 132 yards of continuous polyester filament thread.
