Serger Finishing Techniques on your Baby Lock Serger 9/26/26

Want to learn how to finish off those seams on your serger? We will cover how to perform good finishing techniques, use of a gate, and serging in the round.

Must have Baby Lock Air Thread 4 or 8 thread serger (Victory or higher model)

TO BE FAIR TO ALL STUDENTS, PLEASE COME TO CLASS PREPARED WITH YOUR MATERIALS/SUPPLIES. WE NO LONGER LOAN POWER CORDS, THREAD STANDS, HOOPS, FEET OR OTHER SUPPLIES FOR CLASS. IF YOU ARE NOT PREPARED-YOU WILL NEED TO AUDIT THE CLASS. WE CANNOT CATCH YOU UP FOR PARTS OF CLASS THAT YOU MISS WHILE TRYING TO GATHER SUPPLIES LAST MINUTE. THANK YOU FOR UNDERSTANDING.

Baby Lock Air Thread 4 or 8 thread serger (Victory/Imagine or Higher—must have A, B, C, D Dial on right side of machine)
Pack of needles for your machine
4 different colors of cones of serger thread (We prefer the Aerofil cones that we carry at SEWabilities)
Serger tools and accessories that came with your serger
Quick Reference guide that came with your machine
Scissors, tweezers and basic sewing supplies
Double eyed needle
Fray Check
Baby Lock Standard Foot that came with your serger

All supplies are available for purchase at SEWabilities and are eligible for a 10% class discount. Please let us know at the register when purchasing supplies.

We will provide the fabrics needed for the techniques.
