Supplies to Bring

TO BE FAIR TO ALL STUDENTS, PLEASE COME TO CLASS PREPARED WITH YOUR MATERIALS/SUPPLIES. WE NO LONGER LOAN POWER CORDS, THREAD STANDS, HOOPS, FEET OR OTHER SUPPLIES FOR CLASS. IF YOU ARE NOT PREPARED-YOU WILL NEED TO AUDIT THE CLASS. WE CANNOT CATCH YOU UP FOR PARTS OF CLASS THAT YOU MISS WHILE TRYING TO GATHER SUPPLIES LAST MINUTE. THANK YOU FOR UNDERSTANDING.

• Baby Lock 4 or 8 thread Serger (Model Victory and higher) with power cord/foot control
• Quick reference threading guide (AN ABSOLUTE MUST). 
• Needle pack of at least 5 of the ELx705CF needles that you use standard in your machine (size 90/14)
•  2 matching (or close to) spools of 12 wt thread (Wonderfil spagetti is best!) with regular serger cone to match (sold at SEWabilities)
• •  2 matching spools of AeroFLOCK Texturized polyester with regular serger cone to match (sold at SEWabilities)
•  Pack each of Dritz Thin cording elastic and Dritz 1/8" elastic (sold at SEWabilities at fabric desk)
• •  Blindhem foot and Beading foot to fit your serger
• Overlock table preferred if you have it, otherwise standard knife cover
• •  Optional: 3 Ring Binder "Serger Accessories and Attachments" Inspiration guide for bonus teaching material if time allows at end of class time
• ALL of your screwdrivers (Black and RED!), cone holders, spool sponges, nets, wire threading tools, tweezers and parts/accessories that CAME with your serger (Please check front of your manual for ENTIRE list)
• Marking pen and basic sewing scissors, Fray Check (optional, but good to have)
