Garment Basics Series 2/6-2/27/25
Want to learn more about garment sewing? This class series is for you. We will start with the basics of reading patterns, picking patterns, fabrics to choose, and stitch up a simple pajama pattern on your sewing machine in this four-session class. 4 Class Sessions: Thurs 2/6, Thurs 2/13, Thurs 2/20 and Thurs 2/27.

This class is taught in four parts – once-a-week, every Thursday afternoon in September.
You will learn very basic, beginning garment making using a “comfy (PJ) pants” pattern and any brand machine is welcome.The first two sessions do NOT require a machine but there will be homework.
What you will need for class1 are a tape measure and note-taking materials and
for class 2 you’ll need straight fabric pins and good fabric scissors.
Class 1 is all about the pattern, proper measurements, appropriate fabrics and how to prep the pattern. Class 2 will be cutting and prepping the fabric pieces. Class 3 & 4 require your machine and will focus on the actual construction and finishing.
(Pattern needed will be purchased for you and included in Price of Class; Please register by 1/21 to be sure to have the pattern arrive in time.)
