Beginning Quilting -How-to Flying Geese 7/17/24



Looking for a place to learn how to get started with quilting? Come to this beginning quilting class to learn more.  In this class we will be covering how to make Flying Geese blocks.  Once you learn this technique, you will be flying in no time.

FLYING GEESE CLASS

Supply List

 

1 Fat Quarter or 1/3 yard solid fabric cut as follows

            4 – 4 ½ squares

            1 – 9 ½ square

1 Fat Quarter or ¼ yard print fabric cut as follows

            2 – 4 ½ X 8 ½ rectangles

            4 – 5 1/8 squares        

FABRIC MUST BE CUT PRIOR TO CLASS

Sewing machine, power cord, foot pedal

Thread and bobbin to match fabric

Scissors

Seam Ripper

Water soluble marking pen

8 ½ X 12 ½ rectangle or 12 inch square ruler

Deb Tucker Wing Clipper 1 ruler (Available at SEWabilities)

Rotary cutter

Extra EBBR sewing machine needle

Requirements: Must be familiar with the basics of threading your own machine. All machine brands are welcome
