Kimberbell Klub 9/14/24 Fab-Boo-Lous Canvas Backpack

Join us for this KIMBERBELL Embroidery Club.  Each Month we will feature a NEW DEALER Exclusive project---NEVER BEFORE RELEASED!! 

REGISTRATION FOR THIS CLASS WILL OPEN August 1, 2024 10am ONLINE or in-store.
All materials purchased for class are eligible for 10% Class Discount.  Just mention which class you are registered for at the register to get your discount.


SUPPLIES TO BRING:  (You must have 5x7" capability for this project)


*Machine, Embroidery unit and Power cord in good working order
Embroidery Foot with new needle (75/11 EBBR)

*Prewound bobbin in white (Style L with Center pin if you have a Baby Lock)

*Variety of embroidery threads to match your tastes, using the photo as a guide or our store sample (I used these RA Rayon:  2565 Aged Charcoal, 2296 Black, 2581 Old Dark Tex Orane, 2391 Pine Green, 237 Espresso and 2616 Pro Maroon for the fabrics we used.  See our shop sample for help in color choices, or choose to match your fabric choices)

*If you do not want to make the backpack, this design also would be  cute on a pillow or a tea towel.  

* Our sample was made using the Fabrics cut per chart below for the 6x10 design, not the 5x7, but you can choose either depending on your machine capability.  If you can make the larger one, we think it looks quite nice on the bag, but would be too large for a towel, so plan accordingly.

*Stabilizers and Flexifoam cut for your desired hoop size per chart below

*This is a two step project that requires both embroidery maching and sewing machine functions if you are to complete the bag in class.  Please bring your sewing feet, ankle, sewing thread to match your fabrics and foot control if you plan to sew your bag closed in class.  You can also do the sewing at home if desired after class.

*Snip Eze Scissors for applique cutting

*5-6" scissor

*Duckbill scissor

*Seam Ripper 

*Tweezers

*Please bring your OWN printed copy of the directions which will be emailed to you on September 1st, 2024.

*Please come with your designs loaded in your machine or on a USB Stick which are emailed to you on September 1st.
