Join us for this Kimberbell Certified Shop Event! Spoonful of Sunshine-One Day Event

At Kimberbell’s one-day machine embroidery event, attendees will make three cheerful and giftable projects. After stitching an Unbe”leaf” able Mini Wreath with dimensional leaves and fruit, your guests will enjoy creating their It’s a Snap Tea Towel and Lick the Spoon Apron! With fresh techniques, happy colors, and a variety of embellishments, Spoonful of Sunshine is a ray of light for every machine embroidery enthusiast.

TECHNIQUES:

• Making a hanging hand towel entirely in-the-hoop
• Adding applique with darling embellishments
• Creating a multi-pocket apron
• Stitching dimensional felt leaves

 Kimberbell Events are a blast for everyone involved. There’s something so uplifting about gathering with other machine embroidery enthusiasts, be it virtually or in-person, and working on the same projects at the same time. Your instructors walk you through every single step, teaching helpful tips along the way. And since the projects include a variety of techniques and products, events are a satisfying way for both new AND seasoned embroiderers to Experience the Joy of Creativity™ together.

Now, when you attend a Kimberbell Event, we will give you the Event Kit, which includes everything you need to make the projects: Kimberbell Paper Tape, precut fabrics, Kimberbellishments, Kimberblanks, your event lanyard and collectible pin, and full-color, step-by-step instructions.

With everything cut, packaged, labeled, and ready to go, there’s a whole lotta fun packed into one little bag!

PLEASE BRING THE FOLLOWING:

NOTE: YOU MUST HAVE A 6"x10" (160mm x 260mm) HOOP embroidery field capability to do these projects.

*Embroidery Machine in good working order, Embroidery unit and power cord
*Load new needle in machine (We prefer the EBBR 75/11)
*6" x 10" hoop (160mm x 260mm)
*5" x 7" hoop (130mm x 180mm)
*  White Prewound bobbins with center pin if needed for your machine
*Regular bobbin wound with Both Greens you have selected below, or just choose one green if desired (that is what I did)
*Several EBBR 75/11 Needles
*Thread in these colors: Cream, yellow, light green, dark green, light blue/turquoise, dark blue.  I used: Robison anton Rayon Eggshell 2343, Black eyed Susie 2561, Sage2595, Holly2323, Turquoise 2204, Deep Windsor Blue2589
*Regular Sewing thread in White for sewing portion of the class
*Regular sewing foot, ankle and foot pedal for sewing portion of the class
*If your machine has the Digital Dual Feed foot and standard sole or a walking foot, please bring it for some of the sewing.
*Snip eze scissors for cutting appliques
*Sew Easy Fabric Glue stick
*Fine point tweezers
*Wonder Clips 
*Hand Sewing Needle and thread
*Seam Ripper 
*Sewing ruler
*Water soluble marking pen or Frixion Pen

Stabilizer will be provided for you. If you have a brand other than a Baby Lock/Brother, please contact us with stabilizer cutting sizes for the hoops you will bring.   Please be sure you have the hoops listed above as these are the hoop sizes that stabilizer will be cut for.  Due to the ever continuing rise in the cost of stabilizers, we will be making a few modifications to the types of stabilizers we are providing.  This way we can keep our costs down and we won't have to charge an extra fee to you.

Want to join in virtually on Zoom or in-person?  Go ahead and register.  We will assume you are in-person unless you call us after registering to let us know you would like to join us on zoom.  We will have your kit in store for pick up if you are local, OR we can mail it to you.  You just let us know.   PLEASE KNOW THAT IF YOU ARE DOING ZOOM, THAT YOU MAY NOT HAVE AS MUCH INDIVIDUAL HELP AND ATTENTION AS YOU WOULD IN PERSON.  ALSO, YOUR STABILIZERS ARE NOT INCLUDED IF YOU ARE DOING VIRTUAL.  KNOW THIS SIGNING UP!!!

Skill Details:	Machine Embroiderers of all levels welcome. Must have 6x10"" hoop or larger.
Requirements:	To keep our costs down to you on events, we are asking that you please bring your own lunch. Several restaurants in the shopping center are wonderful with several choices to choose from, or simply bring a sack lunch of your own. We will provide water, coffee, hot tea and snacks.
